Olympic Peninsula Equine Network OPEN
(formerly known as Eyes that Smile)
PO Box 252 Sequim, WA 98382
Dear Supporter of ETS,
Thank you for your past financial support of our nonprofit horse rescue organization. We are pleased to inform you that at our annual meeting on September 2, 2014, Valerie A. Jackson was elected as our new Board Chair, replacing Brian Pettyjohn. We thank Mr. Pettyjohn for his service and generosity to the organization, and wish him well in his future endeavors. We also would like to inform you that we have changed our name to Olympic Peninsula Equine Network (OPEN) to better reflect our mission.
Your donations to our organization are very important to us. As winter approaches, we will be buying a lot of hay to feed the 18 rescue horses presently in our care. But while hay is our major expense, as you know there are many other costs involved including farrier and veterinary services and special feed for the older horses just to name a few.
We are also moving forward with our plans to build an Equine Rescue Facility on property we will be leasing in Sequim. We hope you will continue to help us in the ongoing care and support of these beautiful animals by making a tax deductible donation to OPEN today.
Thanks and Warmest Regards,
Valerie A. Jackson, Chair
